EFFECTIVE
WAY OF CONTROLLING TRIPS
Collecting
data for travel expenses
When starting the vehicle's engine basic data is written on the display
that is needed for the correct functioning of the system. If the smart
card is not correctly inserted or is damaged, the system alerts the driver
of the error with a sound signal. If the driver does not respond, driving
is not prevented; data is saved into a reserved memory module in the EKV
basic unit from where it can be later transferred to a PC. A derivative
is possible that enables engine blocking.
Overview
of the route travelled
With the aid of the program EKV Manager the user reserves a vehicle and
issues a travel order whose status is unclosed. With it we get complete
control over travel orders and we encourage the users to close them regularly
and on time when they arrive from the trip. Data is saved in the database
that it is available for different purposes: printout of electronic vehicle
booklet, burdening the user, control over correct and justifiable use
of means and vehicles, etc.
Reducing
the level of errors in administrative processing
Smart card enables saving and transferring data from vehicle into information
system. Beside data about travelled distance, each smart card contains
data about driver and vehicle that is needed for precise managing of travel
orders and vehicle booklet. If there is no room left on the card for saving
data, the device records data onto the basic EKV unit.
Using
company vehicles for private purposes
Each driver has his own card, which records the ID number of the vehicle.
This enables an overview of the vehicle that was used. When analysing
data of the EKV module or smart card one can accurately see the route
and time of travelled route. The program enables a visual presentation
of route with which the supervisor quickly determines all deviations.
It is also possible to check the travelled route per driver or per vehicle
in any time interval.
