Together with Rotomatika Ltd. and the Faculty of Electrotechnics at the University of Ljubljana, Logina Ltd. builds up a consortium for diesel-engine vehicle energy management. Co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund in the amount of 18,495 €, it is considered to be an investment and developmental research project. The subject of the developmental research part of the project is devising an innovative starter generator in a diesel-engine vehicle and producing a laboratory prototype consisting of an electronic and a mechanical complex of an integrated starter generator. It will save up on the fuel consumption and lower the CO2 emission by providing a stop & start feature and electric power generation in the vehicle, which will partially replace diesel fuel.
