PAYING ACCORDING TO NUMBER OF PASSENGERS ON BOARD
The "Free traffic toll collection system with protection of personal data - including passenger monitoring system" enables fair payment of toll considering actual road usage and also considering number of passengers that the bus or lorry is transporting. For fair charging of toll in case of commercial use of the roads the equipment for passengers counting is plugged in the vehicle directly to the OBU. On the basis of the signal of the sensors the analyzer calculates the number of entering passengers through the door of the bus. Consequently each toll is calculated concerning the number of passengers on board at the moment of crossing.
